Does Medicare cover acupuncture?
As of January 2020, Medicare covers acupuncture treatment for chronic low back pain, according to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). The coverage is subject to limitations on the number of sessions and the type of provider administering the treatment. Currently, Licensed Acupuncturists (L.
